custom plastic fabrication and extrusion

Custom Plastic Fabrication and Extrusion Processes

To produce the highest quality custom plastic fabrication and plastic extrusions, our design engineers work with our clients from start to finish and with virtually all types of plastics. We will build or modify custom extrusion tooling for use on or off the line.

Our process engineers will analyze your part and develop the process to best suit your needs. Crescent Plastics excels in the area of custom plastic fabrication. Quantities of the part, as well as design factors, will determine if the plastic fabrication can be performed on-line.

Our plastic fabrication processes include:

  • Assembly
  • Cutting
  • Embossing
  • Gluing
  • Hot Stamping
  • Ink Jet Printing
  • Pad Printing
  • Routing
  • Silk Screening
  • Solvent Bonding
  • Sonic Welding
  • Processes that can also be performed often on-line*:

  • Drilling
  • Milling
  • Notching
  • On-line Foiling
  • Punching
  • Tape Application

  • *Capability will be determined on an individual basis

    Co-Extrusion
Co-extrusion is a technique in which multiple layers are extruded together in a single extrusion.

A common example would be a flexible material combined with a more rigid material at a cross-section; the rigid material adds strength and structural alignment while the flexible material serves another function such as sealing.
